Crock pot Cheesy Potato Soup with Sausage
Last week, it was feeling like fall out. Here in the south fall and winter come late, and usually after the holidays. Last week it was in the lower 60s in the morning and evenings, and the windows were open, airing the house out. Just the "feeling" in the air made me want to get the crock pot out and get to cooking! So that's exactly what I did. I decided to cook one of our favorites Cheesy Potato Soup and I saw we had some sausage so I decided to add that to it too. It was amazing! I also made corn bread muffins. Oh it's making me hungry now!
Here's what you need:
-4 or 5 Potato's, depending on how big they are or the amount of servings you need.
-1 can Potato Soup
-1 can Cheese Soup
-1 cup Chicken Broth
- 1 1/2 cup of Cheddar Cheese
-Polksa Kielbasa Sausage
- Salt to taste, or your preference
-Creole Seasoning to taste, or your preference
Peal and Cut Potatoes to desired thickness. (We like our thin and in smaller pieces).
Add to Crock pot with Potato Soup, Cheese Soup, Chicken Broth, Salt, and Creole Seasoning. Turn onto high. Cut the Sausage up and cook in a pan to brown the sides. Once cooked add to Crock pot also add Cheddar Cheese. Cook for 6 hours on High.
I also made Cornbread to go with it! It was delicious! ENJOY
