Pizza Spaghetti

     Pizza Spaghetti, don't that just sound delicious?? Not only is this dish delicious, it is also easy to make. This happens to be a family favorite, in my family of picky eaters. My husband eats Spaghetti but doesn't like things changed or made different, he does however like this. I always get a little worried that he's not going to like a new dish because of how different our taste in food is, here lately though, I've been on a roll. Pizza Spaghetti is very simple to make, and can be made and frozen if you would like, as a make ahead meal, or you can make it all at once.

Here's What You Need:
- 1 regular size package Spaghetti Noodles
-1 tbsp. of oil
-1 tbsp. of salt
- 1lb. Hamburger Meat
- 1/2 bag Pepperoni
-1 jar Spaghetti Sauce
- 1 bag Mozzarella Cheese
-Casserole Dish ( any size your prefer)

Your going to cook this basically just like you would regular Spaghetti, the only difference is adding Pepperoni and Mozzarella cheese. Here are my normal steps.
  • Boil Water, Add Noodles to the water, add tbsp. of oil and salt.
  • Brown Hamburger Meat
  • While Hamburger is browning, Cut pepperonis in half and place in pan and heat.
  • Once meat is browned, drain, add pepperonis, and Spaghetti Sauce together in pan, and heat.

  • When noodles are done {we test noodles by throwing them at the cabniets, if they stick, their usually done, i would try one just to be sure though, something fun for the kids} Drain, set to the side.
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  • You can use any size casserole dish, and you are going to layer it in there; I layered it by starting with the spaghetti noodles, added a layer of the sauce mixture, and topped with cheese ( add as little or as much cheese as you want, just leave enough to add to the top. Repeat these steps until all is in the Casserole dish. {If you are freezing this as a make ahead meal, go ahead and just mix it all together, do not add the cheese, and freeze.}
  • Once you have everything in the casserole dish and it is topped with cheese go ahead and bake it until cheese on the top is melted or if you prefer it, bake until the cheese is a little browned.
  • {If you are making this from being frozen, thaw out completely, once it it is thawed, layer into the casserole pan by placing the spaghetti mixture in, add cheese, and repeat until it all in the casserole pan, bake the same time and temperatures}
