     When we're having one of those days I turn to my favorite one skillet meal, Hamburger Helper. I can always count on it to be a perfect filling meal for the whole family.      Now before you head off to the grocery store to get these affordable ($1.35 a box) delicious suppers for your family, take a look at how we spice up our Hamburger Helper Cheeseburger Macaroni.

     I have a house full of very picky eaters, they like all their food to be "normal" as they would say. That meaning if I'm making cheeseburger macaroni the only way their eating it is if it is Hamburger Helper, but little do they know mama sneaks some stuff in. When I think cheeseburger, I think of a real juicy cheeseburger with extra cheese and pickles, so that's exactly how I cook our Cheeseburger with extra toppings Macaroni. 

Here is what you will need:

-1lb ground beef

-3 tbsp. onion powder (or you could use a real onion, but I don't because well you can "see" the onion and the kids wouldn't eat it.

-2 tbsp creole seasoning

- 1 box of Hamburger Helper, Cheeseburger Macaroni 

-2 tablespoons of pickle juice (don't freak out, it's the secret ingredient and it's exactly what is needed to complete this recipe)

- 1tbsp (per person) Parmesan Cheese, or more if desired

     First things first, season meat in the skillet with 2 tbsp. of onion powder and 2 tbsps of creole seasoning. Brown the hamburger meat and drain. Follow instructions of the Hamburger Helper Cheeseburger Macaroni box to mix the sauce packet and macaroni. Also add in the 1 tbsp of onion powder and 2 tbsps of pickle juice. Bring to a boil and then reduce heat and cover to simmer for required cooking as directed by Hamburger Helper and voila'. Go ahead, make you a plate and add Parmesan cheese.

Homemade Biscuits to go with our supper, were the perfect addition.
