Homeschooling... let me just say there is nothing easy about it, and just like with everything once you get comfortable and in a routine something changes or you add a new co-op class or field trip and your right back at square one. I am a pretty organized person. I put things where they go {most of the time} I like things to have order to them but sometimes it doesn't always work out like that.
Before our vacation, we were on a great schedule/routine, we were just reviewing though for the first two weeks. Since we have come home, it has been B-U-S-Y. We have made some changes to the co-op classes we are attending based on what my son likes best and we are working on a new schedule together. However, currently going day by day is not working for me. I like to be prepared, and even though I know what we are working on and what is being taught for the day, I still have to write it out, print the necessary worksheets, the lesson plan of what to teach, and then after I do all that and he does all the work I have to grade it and record it. Now I say have to but I don't have to, I choose to because I want to make sure he is understanding what we are working on and if he is not, maybe we need to work on it a little bit more, but I think it is important to keep up with grades and because he's been in public school he asks about his grades and what he got on things.
So what I am learning about Homeschool and what you should know is:
