Hey Y'all, It's Fall & that means....

Happy Fall Y'all! Are you excited or what? PUMPKIN EVERYTHING! :) Besides there being pumpkin everything I love the colors of Fall and all the decor. My kitchen is fall colors all year so I get excited when I get to add the colors through out the rest of the house. So with the weekend nearing and it's officially fall, I will be getting all of my fall and Halloween Decorations put out. Before I do though I wanted to take a look through my Pinterest Boards and share with y'all some of my favorite Pins for Fall and some that I will be doing!

How adorable and easy is this, however I can see my kids in it because they just had to see what it felt like, or my husband doing it because he just had to mess with me :) Still adorable! Maybe I'll save these for Thanksgiving where they are only out for the one day for decoration. They should all be able to keep their fingers out then.

{The Scott Life} A Little Bit of Us shared with Y'all

Making : Our home school curriculum packs for the week. I swear once I get them all done I feel like i'm right back trying to get more together!
Cooking : Just took the chicken out of the freezer. I'm making Chicken & Rice once I get back this afternoon. Thursday = Archery
Drinking : Sunny D Smooth
Reading: Lots of blogs, have to get everything set up for October. The end of the month is always the busiest.
Wanting: An assistant or a house cleaner. If someone would handle some of the work tasks and/or all the cleaning in the house. Things would be so much easier.
Looking: at Ballet stuff. Trying to find the best for my money.
Playing: Nothing right now, no time for that. However, we did play a family game of Sorry last night, and let me tell you that game I know went on for almost 2 hours. I almost won, till I got ganged up on by the kids and my husband - I still came in second :p
Wasting: nothing- I'm at archery for my son for the next 2 hours and catching up on blogging.
Sewing: nothing currently- I really need to start something soon.
Wishing: that I drove- I know I've never said that but it looks like it's time for me to conquer my fear. (Maybe)
Enjoying: This breeze, it all of a sudden got hot.
Waiting: on archery to be over! I still have a long list of things to do today.
Liking: That the house is finally starting to get back to normal and in normal routine.
Wondering:  Why women are so catty?
Loving: homeschooling, in loving all that he is getting to do and experience

We have been known to celebrate Christmas in our shirts, Hawaiian shirts, and umbrella drinks. Any who, We are sharing a great DIY craft for your home, especially since we all are obsessed with pumpkin everything.

Spooky Treats from My Cake Decorating Kits - Kit 2

I spent a lot of time deciding what I was going to make from Kit 2 of My Cake Decorating! It all looks so delicious. I wanted to make something though that was healthy since I am on a health kick, well as healthy as possible, after all it is cake, cupcakes, and sweets. I chose to make the Banana Cupcakes! I highly recommend this being something you try!

I really wanted to use fondant, however I do not like trying things for a first time when I have review. I've never used fondant but all of these beautifully decorated cakes and cupcakes are made with fondant and it makes them all extra beautiful, I new my post would end up as a, "How I failed with Fondant and with the instructions right in front of me". I don't see that being a good post, a funny one but not what I wanted. I think the fondant is going to take practice {look for it in a later post}. I chose to take the cupcakes and make them a little spooky for the upcoming Halloween Season.

Sunday Baking with My Cake Decorating Kit

Are you a Baker and can make a delicious cakes, pies, and cookies, but you can't decorate them the way you want because you just don't know the right technique? I tend to have that problem with everything, well except a pie, I'm getting pretty good at pie crusts, and pie tops. {I'm getting excited for Thanksgiving baking!}However, before I start thinking about Thanksgiving, I have to get through Halloween, & during this time I will want to make cute things so I was very excited when I heard about the opportunity to review the first two My Cake Decorating Kits.

I was very happy when my package came containing my kits. Being in Direct Sales, you learn that one of the most important things about your business are the little things like customer service and making a memorable experience with the customer so they also remember you.  My Cake Decorating does a great job making a memorable experience with the customer. When I opened the package, I was very excited to see beautiful packaging, with a great Welcome letter to me! It was like opening a special gift, even though I knew what was in the starter kit, I was excited to get it and try out all the knew tools.

The Starter Kit comes with plenty for you to do, I have to find the time to try them all.

{The Kids are Cooking} Pudding Pops

If you haven't heard we're homeschooling, and I'm always looking for different activities. My children love to cook or help in the kitchen, so we had a little extra time after our school work and decided to give my son a little something to do to contribute to dinner. We made Pudding Pops!

Here is what you will need:
-Pudding
-Milk
-Dixie Cups
-Popsicle Sticks

-Mix pudding as directed on the box. Pour into Dixie cups until half full, place cups in the freezer for about 30 minutes.

-Remove and add Popsicle sticks in the middle

-Place back in the freezer for a hour longer and there ready to eat!!

-To Remove from Dixie Cup, rotate cup under hot water and it will slide right out.

These are so Delicious and creamy pudding pops, plus the kids can make them which makes them even better!
