Just another Manic Monday!

FLYING HOME TODAY!!! Oh I missed my family, however I had an amazing time in Oklahoma, visiting! There is nothing like family time and getting to do fun stuff with them. I can't believe my sister is 18, it really makes me feel old, even though I'm not. I must say I had a much needed, relaxing long weekend though.

I flew to Oklahoma on Thursday to be there for my sister who turned 18! That night we had an amazing dinner!! I couldn't remember the last time I had steak, and these weren't "grocery store" steak, these were "up the road, in the pasture"  fresh steak. I was further out in the country then I'm use to. My step parents have a brand and they branded our steak! I want one because every steak will we eat will get branded! It's too cool. We will have to get one made.

The next day my sister and I rode our to the stock yards in Coffeyville, KS, for lunch! This was my first time at a stockyard. We do not have stock yards around here but a ton of cattle. A little weird, but the nearest stock yard is 2 and half hours away. This specific stockyard has amazing burgers! My sister told me I had to have one and she was right! It was delicious!! Now, that I am talking about it, I am craving one!! That night we went to the roping, and that was a lot of fun. I honestly don't think I have had that much fun just hanging out and watching the roping! I'm going to check into when our local rodeos and roping's are and I think we will start going! I know the kids will think its awesome! I'm also going to look into taking them riding. That would be a lot of fun.

My sister and family have their own little farm. My sister has 12 goats, 4 horses, and 4 dogs. I would love to be able to have goats and horses. I think it would be something the kids would love and we could start our own little farm. I would prefer to have a horse, but my husband says no horse, maybe I can talk him into a goat or goats.

It truly was a great weekend! I wish that we lived closer to be apart of each others everyday lives more often.

Hope everyone had a great weekend!
