15 days of Halloween Fun - #1 Candy-less School Treat

I've seen this on Pinterest many times in different ways and have always thought of doing it but never actually did. Y'all know how it is with Pinterest, so many fun things to do and not enough time to do them all and just be creative. Well I had the perfect opportunity when my good friend Amanda went on a Wilton Shopping spree and bought leaf, pumpkin, and ghost silicone baking pans. She bought them and tried them out and made some crayons of her own and I absolutely had to borrow them and make us some too!
Our children are in Elementary School and its coming up on their Halloween Party and Amanda also had the great idea of a candy-less treat for all the kids. Kids get enough candy for Halloween. This is different and a lot of fun! I'm also going to add some other specials to it. I'll add the extras in at the end.
        Thanks Amanda!

HERE IS WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
-Silicone Baking Molds - You can use any kind you prefer
-Crayons (With the Paper torn off)
          -A Metal Baking Pan

Preheat oven to 200 degrees. If you haven't already Pull all the paper off of the crayons (this is what will take the most time). Add the crayons to the silicone baking molds till about half way full. Place the silicone baking molds on a metal baking sheet. Place in the oven for 20 minutes. If some crayons have not melted place in for just a little longer, keep your eye on them though. you can also swirl the colors with a tooth pick if your doing specific colors. After they are completely melted, they will be completely liquid, place in freezer for 10-15 min. Once cooled, carefully pop them out and they are ready to color with! The kids really enjoy these and thought they were cool!

For my daughters class party I'm going to add a Halloween Color Sheet, that I am going to print out and add a snack of a orange with pumpkin faces drawn on them!  I think this will not only be a healthy snack but also fun and creative for the kids! I have some cute bags that I can place everything in and tie with Ribbon!
