Justin's Peach Cobbler

Justin’s Peach Cobbler

Peach cobbler is my husband’s favorite dessert. It is generally a dessert my mother makes for him because she baked and baked and baked peach cobblers until she found his favorite! I believe it was maybe 3 or 4 different recipes… could have been more.  His birthday was on August 1st.  Instead of making him a cake or cupcakes I decided at the last minute it would be nice for him to have some type of dessert after dinner. His birthday fell on a Thursday, so there was not a whole lot of time in the evening to celebrate, and I wanted to make it special until the weekend got here where we would have a more proper celebration.  So I went on the hunt for my mom’s recipes that she sent me. It was nowhere to be found, so I searched again.  I could not even find it in email.  So then I had to change plans, and I went on the hunt for an easy and quick recipe that not only sounded good and looked good, but also whose ingredients I already had in the cabinets. <<”Yeh, Right!” I thought.>> The first one I came to was a Betty Crocker recipe, titled ”Classic Bisquick Peach Cobbler.”  The first thing that came to mind was that I have Bisquick and classic sounds perfect. I looked at the recipe and I had everything that was needed for it. I wasn’t missing anything!  That made it 100% PERFECT! The only thing I was worried about now was, would he like it?

You can get the Recipe:  HERE

HE LOVED IT! Or was he just telling me that?  I don’t know and don’t care. As long as he ate it,  acted like he enjoyed it, and genuinely seemed happy, I’m good…and I know it wasn’t terrible because he did eat it. This is a very easy recipe that tastes good and uses most stuff we have in our home on a constant basis. I hope you and your family enjoy it as much as Justin did.

MY PICKY EATERS SAY:

LOGAN: He refused to try it. He helped make it and was all about trying it until we mixed the peaches up with the sugar and he said, "ewww no." Picky habit 1 Mom 0

LAILA: "It was good but I didn't like the peaches." She ate her whole slice and even talked about making more. She's funny!
